I ride out from the castle. This girl I gotta save is out there in the wilderness. God knows what's in the way. I think she's in the grotto. Big goblins guard her cage. I ride up to them, chop em up in a bloody savage rage.

The cage is empty, she's not there. I thought she'd let me touch her hair. I thought that she was powerless and I would free her of despair.

I thought I was the big knight who'd sacrifice myself to kill the goblins, free the girl, restore the order of the world. But that was but a pipe dream. A fool I must have been to think that I could even change a single fucking thing.

A bird delivers a rolled up scroll. The girl escaped the goblin hole all by herself, and now she's free to roam the land in harmony.
